Naira obtained N0.77 against dollars in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, recovered to the US dollar on an official window on Friday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 532.34/$ 1 compared to N1, 533.11/$ 1 which is traded on Thursday.

This is the advantage of N0.77 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira lost N5 to the dollar to be traded in N1.535/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.530/$ 1.

Naira also lost N5 to British pounds to be traded on N2.140/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.135/£ 1.

Local currencies, however, are closed flat against Canadian dollars to be traded at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

N5 loss to Euro to be traded in ₦ 1,800/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,795/€ 1.
