Naira obtained N3.90 against the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, was obtained against the US dollar in an official window on Friday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 531.57/$ 1 compared to N1, 535.47/$ 1 which is traded on Thursday.

This is the advantage of N3.90 for local currencies against American Greenback.

Naira obtained N1 against the dollar to trade at N1.546/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.547/$ 1.

Local currency, however, loss of N5 to British pounds, traded on N2.125/£ 1, compared to the previous day level N2.120/£ 1.

Naira continued to close flatly against Canadian dollars to trade at N1.200/Ca $ 1.
