About 2,600 graduates from the state of Enugu must undergo training to acquire skills in the second phase of the renewed Hope Employment Initiative (Rhei 2) by Mr. Mr.
The selected young people will have to undertake an intensive training of one week, two weeks or three months respectively by professional, entrepreneurial, agricultural, ICT and public and public skills scheduled for the program.
Speaking to the flag off the program on Thursday at the headquarters of the area of the local government of Enugu in the state of Enugu, the coordinator, which represented the general manager of NDE, Silas Agara, Mr. Oluka Godwin Odoh, urged the trainees to seriously take their serious training and the opportunities that would have been accumulated at the end of their training.
Agara observed that the first phase of the initiative was successful in which the beneficiaries were established with start -up packages to help themselves settle in the chosen fields.
“Our sincere expectation is that the participants would be positively equipped with the skills to improve their employability, encourage the mentality of entrepreneurials and improve their means of subsistence and contribute to their communities and the economic growth of the nation,” he said.
He said 41.307 people at national level would participate in the second phase above the first phase which began in December last year with 32,692 participants.
Even speaking, the president of the local government area of Enugu, Caleb Ani, represented by the secretary of the local government, Kenneth Nya, appreciated the NDE for the job opportunities they offer to young people, underlining that he aligned with their youth Empowerment program of which they have enhanced over 200 young people of the Council.
Ani then invited the lucky participants to take their training seriously to obtain the benefit of the renewed initiative for the employment Hope, Rhei 2.
