Nigerian teenager wins first medal at International Fencing Championships

Nigeria made tremendous strides in the global fencing scene last year
weekend, thanks to the impressive performance of 16-year-old Inkosi

match against Andre Mateev of Iceland.

in the quarter-finals with a narrow 15-13 win over Oriol of Spain

In the semifinals, Inkosi faced his biggest obstacle when he faced
Number 1 seed Cristoher Cortez of Ecuador in a tactical and intense match,
