Nigerians escorted out of Iran by FG ​​officials

Some Nigerians were escorted out of Iran by Nigeria’s federal government officials at the embassy in that country.

This was confirmed by the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

The confirmation was contained in a terse statement by NiDCOM’s Director of Media, Public Relations and Protocol, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, on Wednesday.

According to Dabiri-Erewa, some Nigerians seeking safety were escorted across the Armenian border by officials from the Nigerian embassy in Iran.
