No Nigerian blood should be shed because of politics – PRP presidential aspirant

The Presidential Aspirant of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) in the 2027 general elections, Eng. (Dr.) Yakubu Mohammed Kingsley (YMK)), expressed concern over the various challenges facing the country as the 2027 general elections approach.

According to him, Nigerian blood should not be shed because of politics.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Abuja, he said that these realities require not only healthy and responsible leadership
government but also divine intervention.

“Today, our nation faces enormous challenges – millions of Nigerians
continue to struggle with economic difficulties, rising, high inflation
cost of living, unemployment, insecurity, kidnappings, terrorism,
community conflicts, decline in purchasing power and growth
uncertainty about the future.

“Families struggle every day to get food
on their tables, businesses struggle for survival, while many young people
people are looking for hope,” he said.

As the nation gradually approaches the General of 2027
Elections, the
political
atmosphere
he noticed is
become
more and more
charged.

“The political alignments are taking shape, the campaigns are
gathering momentum and aspirations of individuals e
political parties are becoming more pronounced.

“While democracy
is naturally conducive to healthy political competition, we must do it
never lose sight of a more fundamental issue that transcends
politics.

“The most important question before us today is not whether the President will be president
Bola Ahmed Tinubu secures another term, nor if
any other presidential candidate emerges victorious.

“The most important question is this:
Nigeria will remain united, peaceful, stable and stronger after the war
2027 general election?

“This question should occupy the minds of every patriotic Nigerian,” he said.

Kingsley, who is currently contesting the May 25 primary election of the party that produced former Cross Rivers State governor, Donald Duke, as the PRP presidential candidate, said Nigeria has always been known as a deeply religious nation.

“Through
every state and community, churches and mosques present themselves as
symbols of our faith in Almighty God.

“Throughout our history, Nigerians have continually turned to God in times of
national uncertainty, and He remained faithful.

“This is another defining moment.
This is not the time for hate.
This is not the time for political bitterness.

“This is not the time for ethnic or religious divisions.
This is the time for sincere repentance, fervent prayers, fasting,
reconciliation and national healing,” he said.

Kingsley, therefore, invited every Nigerian, regardless of politician
affiliation, tribe, religion or social status, to unite in seeking the face of Almighty God for the peace and preservation of

“I appeal to our respected Sheikhs, Imams, Mallams, pastors,
Reverends, Bishops, Archbishops, Apostles, Evangelists, Deacons,
Deaconesses, traditional rulers, community leaders, women’s groups,
youth organizations, widows, elderly people and all those who pray
The Nigerian will dedicate this season to the most sincere prayers for Nigeria.

“Let every church and every mosque remember Nigeria in their
daily prayers. Let families establish prayer altars for our nation.

“Let fasting and intercession be offered for peace, justice and
unit.

“We ask God to grant our nation peace, transparency, freedom,
fair and credible elections that will truly reflect the sovereign will
of the Nigerian people,” he said.

YMK said Nigerian blood should not be shed because of politics.

“Politics should never become a reason for violence, hatred or anything else
destruction. No political ambition is worth a single man’s life
Nigerian.

“I equally address a patriotic appeal to all presidential aspirants and
political leaders of all parties to put Nigeria above personal issues
ambition.

“I respectfully address President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and everyone
other presidential aspirant and political stakeholder, regardless
political party, to behave in a way that strengthens our
democracy,
preserve
national
unit,
AND
promote
Calm
coexistence before, during and after the elections.

“History will not just remember who won the elections; it will
remember those who helped preserve unity, peace and
democratic stability of our nation.

“Our political parties, including the People’s Redemption Party (PRP),
the All Progressives Congress (APC), the People’s Democratic Party
(PDP),

New
Nigeria
Peoples
Party
(NNPP),
THE
Young
Progressive Party (YPP), African Democratic Congress (ADC),
the African Action Congress (AAC), the Democratic Action Party

political party – one must remember that Nigeria is bigger than any other
political platform.

“I also invite all presidential aspirants, regardless of politician
affiliation, to convince their supporters, electoral organizations and spokespersons to exercise maximum moderation towards their audiences

insulting or provocative statements capable of inciting hatred,

religious bodies, media and all parties interested in the elections
fulfill their constitutional and moral responsibilities

“Every Nigerian deserves confidence that the electoral process will go smoothly
