NUSA APPOINTS SPORTS DIRECTOR, READY TO LAUNCH UNION FOOTBALL PROGRAM

The Nigerian Union of South Africa (NUSA) has taken a significant step towards strengthening member unity and commitment through sport with the appointment of Hon. Oziegbe Dickson J. as sports director.

The announcement, made by the union’s leadership, highlights a renewed commitment to fostering cohesion among members while promoting healthy competition among its various districts.

In his new role, the Hon. Oziegbe will oversee the coordination, supervision and strategic development of all sports activities within the NUSA facility.

His immediate task includes preparing a comprehensive calendar for a cross-department football program aimed at bringing members together in a vibrant and inclusive sporting environment.

According to a statement signed by George O. Sylvester, Senior Special Assistant for Media and Publicity to the President General of NUSA, the upcoming football initiative is designed to encourage active participation and deepen unity among members.

“The aim is to create a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere that strengthens our bond through sport,” the statement said, adding that details of matches and match locations will be communicated in due course.

Members of all wards were encouraged to remain actively engaged, support their teams and contribute to the success of the programme.

The union expressed optimism that the football initiative will not only improve recreational activities but also serve as a unifying platform for its diverse members.
