Former Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, has joined the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The former Deputy Senate President resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday.
Omo-Agege confirmed his switch to the NDC in a statement on Thursday in Warri, Delta State.
He said the decision to join the NDC was the result of weeks of reflection, extensive consultation and honest conversations with his constituents.
“I have consulted with my political colleagues across the country, supporters and stakeholders who are the backbone of our communities.
“From all of this engagement, one truth stands out, the people of Delta want leadership that listens first, acts with integrity, and produces results that can be seen and felt in everyday life,” he said.
