The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the death of Arobo Prechious, a high -ranking national diploma II student from Polytechnic Rufus Giwa, Owo, who was reportedly found dead in a suspected suicide case.
The dead student was found in a bush near his residence in the community last week. A source close to the incident revealed that before his death, Arobo precious had posted an online video, the title that “suggested his death driven by emotional pressure following a failure relationship.”
When contacted for details, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Alayande, confirmed the incident and stated that the students’ bodies had been moved to the morgue.

“Yes, I can confirm to you that suicide cases are reported around 2200 hours on June 18, 2025, at the B Owo Division Police Station,” PPRO said. He added that “After receiving information, the DPO detective team to the scene where the corpse of a young man around 27 years old was found with a rope that was believed to have been used in the suicide commission on his neck.”
Alayande further confirmed the procedural steps taken by the police: “The body is then deleted and stored in the morgue of the federal medical center for preservation and autopsy.” Investigation of the situation around the death is ongoing.
