Onuachu wins the Golden Boot of the Turkish Super League

Paul Onuachu has finished as joint top scorer in the Turkish Super League after finishing the 2025/26 campaign tied on goals with Eldor Shomurodov.

The Nigerian striker and İstanbul striker Başakşehir FK finished the season with 22 league goals each, and Shomurodov equalized on the final matchday after scoring against Gaziantep FK.

Onuachu’s achievement also made him the sixth player in Trabzonspor history to win the Turkish Super Lig top scorer award. The towering striker enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career, consistently scoring goals as Trabzonspor struggled for a strong finish in the league.

Fenerbahçe SK’s Anderson Talisca finished third in the scoring charts with 19 goals. Last season’s top scorer, Victor Osimhen, scored 15 goals in 22 league games during the 2025/26 campaign after previously winning the award with 26 goals.
