CONFIDENTIAL! This seems to be a mode of operation of the ruling respectively -according to Nigeria since 1999. But it has been specifically since the political party Congress all Progressive (APC) occurred in the government in our country about 10 years ago. Almost nothing is thrown open for involvement, debate, conversation, and contestation by critical stakeholders. The dominant practice is for some people, many or all, with yellow and sectarian views, to curl up in what can be passed as a coven, to make heavy decisions and blabber on us all as fait accompli. Some of these problems do not enjoy the necessary national consensus or widespread purchases. Often, some of the decisions and coercion cause suspicion and move poor blood in all population segments. For some people who are determined to head their sectarian agenda about the rest, nothing sacred. And the potential costs for the country’s fabric are not important for them. That might explain why in the 1999 Nigerian constitution which was amended so far, there was a statement and disproportionate provisions in documents that support Islam rather than Christianity. This happens in a secular or multi-religious country. Of course, some Muslims, especially from the northern part of our country, do not receive Nigerian secularity. Not in the past. Not today.
Those who in this group consider Nigeria as their inheritance and heritage. Are they wrong directions? Not really, if we remember the old oath and a clear commitment from the descendants of Uthman and Fodio to transport the Qur’an from the blazing environment in the Sahel region and dipped the same thing in the cool Atlantic Rainforest Ocean. That commitment has not been reduced. Apart from the rejection, it was a hidden reason behind the ticket of the Muslim President 2023 Muslims. Also the spirit to dip the Qur’an into the Atlantic Ocean, which is truly about the conversion of violence from what is called people who do not believe through jihad, are the core of low intensity and civil war that still exists in Nigeria which is realized in terrorism isamic groups such as Boko Haram, Ansaru, Iswap, among others. This desire also encouraged the bloody dismissal of indigenous peoples in the highlands and benues, and other places and the occupation of their ancestors by armed invaders. Repeated attacks on military formation in northern by Islamists are part of a greater plan to instill fear in the hearts of the people, especially non-Muslims, and weaken their resistance to make Nigeria Muslim countries.
There are many who say that if you want to paralyze a country, attack their education. And those who really want to dominate Muslims and their religion, Islam, have diverted their attention to the education sector. Education has become a heel of Achilles in our country. Depending on who you reference, there are between 15-20 million children who come out of school, arguably the highest figure in the world. In addition, there is no Nigerian education segment that is completed and in accordance with the objectives. Indeed, last week there was a national commotion due to mass failure that was cheated in qualifying examination to enter the university with joint revenue and the Matriculation Board (Jamb). After the disaster, the council was indifferent to claim that the mass failure was caused by the lack of seriousness of the candidate. But it turns out and after the audit by people who know who work with Jamb officials, it was found that the council was responsible for the disaster. A teenager who was surprised by the results given to him reportedly took his life after the incident. Apart from the new Saga -new Jamb, the reality is that our country’s education system is messy. This is almost without useful content. Teachers at all public school levels are not ready, they are not equipped and are not motivated. Failure and failed infrastructure is the characteristic of our school. The picture is bleak and sad. And the implications for the future of the country are terrible and hunches.
In the midst of all of this, this was a secret effort to be ongoing to introduce a clear sectarian qualification certificate to compete with the Certificate School (WAEC) Certificate (WAEC) and the National Inspection Board Certificate (NECO) to enter the tertiary institutions. This certificate is being promoted and issued by the National Council for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAI). Our attention is on the ongoing situation when we see the draft (the petition has been formalized and issued) from a letter entitled Emergency Petition to the National Education Regulator: The NBAIS-DIRECT CERTIFICATE POLICY ON NIGERIA EDUCATION INTEGRITY, by those who identify themselves as members of the National Prayer Altar. The national prayer altar consists of more than 100 Christian groups.
It has been said repeatedly by those who should know that one of the easiest ways to paralyze a country is to infect their education system with a weakened virus. There is a slight doubt that the imposition of this sectarian NBAIS certificate as an alternative and entry requirement that can be received to our tertiary schools, to rival WASC and Neco which is widely recognized and NECO can prove death nails in the education sector of our country that reaching in our country. This can be debated but is quite widely recognized that the quality of our educational products begins to suffer from reversal when the requirements for entry to higher learning institutions are manipulated through the formation of schools of repair studies in the country, especially north. Candidates who failed in the School Certificate Examination were granted to schools of basic studies with affiliates to the university. Basic Study School with suspected facilities and teaching staff into pipelines to tertiary institutions. The quality is sacrificed so that many students in the north will catch up with them in the south. And that has become a slippery slope since harming the country.

Alarm raised by the National Prayer Altar (NPA) must be seen as it is – patriotic calls to save this country from a clear and current danger. To avoid doubts, NBAI has been in the country since the 1960s, but most have been operating as non-governmental agents. In less than 2011 it was adopted controversially as a government agency. The door is slightly opened to enable non-Muslims in registering his staff and then for candidates from other religious persuasion to take the examination. Obviously, this is a change of cosmetics to pile up the public that is not suspicious. Public and intelligent NPA members are not fooled, therefore ongoing public protests about the dangers of nbai with WAEC and Neco. The argument of the NPA in their petition to the Nigerian education regulator that has been shambolic about the NBAIS certificate is logical and surgery. So, we will be generous in extracting quotations from their warning letters to those who want to destroy this country. NPA precisely says that “the most effective way to destroy a country (we are a country, however) is not through sophisticated weapons but by reducing the quality of education. When education collapses, every pillar of national life – governance, economy, justice, health, and ethics – as eroded. The nation”.
NPA and other Nigeria do not have the right to deny the search sectarian examination body to train and certify themselves as long as the certification is not thrown into the mixture to pollute the system. Once again we refer to NPA warnings to sustain danger. Said: “While we do not regret NBAIS for their efforts to produce and submit candidates for related religious and cultural services, while we do not question the integrity of the council and their specialists but cultural and religious policies are religious. Global including UNESCO, Ecowas, and Afcfta.
In addition, as NPA said, Arabic certificates do not have standard stems (science, technology, engineering, mathematics)? stiffness. It does not have a balanced and tested Humanities and Civil Education education, or an inclusive academic structure of academic, and secular secular and secular. To allow NBAI to play at the WAEC and Neco levels, the discrimination of religion and culture will be institutionalized against other Nigerians from various religions and culture. This will be provocative and potentially explode. The discriminatory NBAIS certificate policy as far as provides additional options to higher institutions for certain candidates while others struggle with two. As is appointed by NPA with pain: “Someone from one part of Nigeria must have WAEC and/or Neco to be treated to study medicine, law, techniques, accounting, Christian knowledge, or mathematics, while others in different sections of the same country only have to speak their original language and recite their traditional Kristo to win the same space as competing with others.
Over the years, and since this dispensation, our rulers have been hiding with the guise of reform to introduce religion to our education. NBAIS certificate is another manifestation of this dangerous trend. Another time the country was exhaled by what should be an acceptable clothing code for students at the elementary and secondary school level. At the Osun State, for example, some Christian students must wear a choir robe to fight the hijab and flowing dresses permitted for Muslim students. While we fight for the madness to defend our faith which is mostly shallow, no one is worried about the contents of our education, curricular material structure, teaching, infrastructure in our school, the quality of teaching staff and their motivation, access to education in terms of affordability, and other critical mandates. There is no interrogation about how the federal or subnational government is trying to meet the minimum annual budget allocation specified for education, or even whether a miser allocation is well utilized or stolen by many sharks in our education system and their collaborators.
There are many challenges that face our education system. The search to make the NBAIS sectarian and doubtful certificate is equivalent to WAEC and Neco certificates to enter the tertiary institutions, or for job placement in government institutions will not do good things. Leave idea for “Ndu Mmiri, Ndu Azu”, or for the good of all.
