Osimhen shines as Galatasaray demolishes Fenerbahce to extend lead in Turkish league

Galatasaray took a major step towards the Turkish Super Lig title after a crushing victory over rivals Fenerbahce, with Victor Osimhen playing a decisive role.

Osimhen opened the scoring in the 40th minute, giving Galatasaray the early lead in a tense match.

The visitors were further disorganized when Fenerbahce goalkeeper Ederson was sent off in the 62nd minute, leaving them with 10 men.

BA Yılmaz converted from the penalty spot in the 67th minute to double the lead, before Lucas Torreira sealed the win in the 83rd minute.

The result puts Galatasaray firmly in control of the title race with 74 points as the season draws to a close.
