Armed people on Friday killed three people, including a priest, in two villages in the Bokkos Regional Government in the State Plain.
The Victims – Gideon Katings, a priest with the Church of Christ in the nation (cocin), Sunday Bada, and Meshach Bukata – were killed in Suwa and villages – Ding’ak Village from the Head of Mushere, Bokkos Lga, on Friday afternoon.
Some other people who were injured in the attack received treatment at Cottage Hospital in Bokkos.

The Chairman of the Community Peace Observer at Bokkos LGA, Kefas Mallai, confirmed the incident to journalists on Saturday.
He said some residents had been displaced after the attack.
The state of Plateau has recorded several attacks from armed people suspected of members of the militia group in recent months, with around 100 people killed and many others evacuated from their home during that period.
