President Afn Okowa accuses athletes for the presence on the podium

Abuja (Core reporter) President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (Afn), head Tonobok Okow, was on the ground to motivate the team’s Nigeria athletes during the final training sessions in view of the Senior Athletics Championship of Caa Region II in Accra, in Ghana.

Okowa, which also acts as president of the Caa region II, has accused the athletes of lifting to the occasion and giving the best to the championship, scheduled for Monday 18 August to Tuesday 19 August.

In his words: “This is another opportunity to show the world the strength and resilience of the Nigerian athletes. Exit with confidence, make yourself proud, make the federation proud and, above all, make Nigeria proud. We believe in your talent and we are sure you will offer.”
