
Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer, Asake, has announced that his fourth studio album titled “M$NEY” will be released on May 1st.
The Afrobeats star revealed the news via his social media platforms, where he also shared a video showing the creation of a marble statue modeled after him.
The artwork was designed by Iraqi-Dutch sculptor Athar Jabar.
The announcement generated excitement among fans, who were awaiting the singer’s new music.
The upcoming project is expected to include his recent releases such as “Why Love,” “Badman Gangster,” and “Worship,” a collaboration with international DJ, DJ Snake.
The album follows a steady string of successful projects from Asake, including ‘Mr Money With The Vibes’, ‘Work of Art’ and ‘Lungu Boy’, further cementing his rise in the Afrobeat scene since achieving mainstream success in 2020.
Asake was previously nominated for a Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance, which ultimately went to Tems.
With the release of “M$NEY,” fans are expecting another strong run on the charts from the singer.
