“Stop fighting online”, Funke Akindele admonished Eniola Badmus over an argument with a make-up artist

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has rebuked her colleague and friend Eniola Badmus over her online spat with a make-up artist, saying she did not handle the situation properly.

The controversy started after Badmus accused the make-up artist of not showing up for an appointment. The actress expressed her frustration on social media, where she also shared the make-up artist’s phone number and encouraged her followers to call him.

The make-up artist later defended herself by explaining that the appointment had not been confirmed as there was no advance payment. He said his policy requires payment before a booking is secured and added that he only spoke publicly after receiving numerous threats online.

In a video posted on Snapchat, Funke confronted Badmus over the incident, reminding him that he had repeatedly advised him not to engage in online confrontations.

“Badosky, why are you misbehaving online? I told you to stop fighting and harassing people online. What you did was really wrong. If you can’t let me correct you, don’t visit me,” Funke said.

Her comments have sparked a backlash online, with many social media users debating how to handle professional disputes without exposing others to online abuse.
