The bright lights border the glorious

Shining Lights finally found their spark in the Dominion University Ibadan Chancellor’s Cup, securing a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Glorious Ones in a tight encounter that delivered intensity, drama and a touch of frustration.

Shining Lights came into the match under pressure and ended a four-game winless streak in the competition, a streak that dated back to the first edition of the tournament. But while the score may suggest control, the reality on the field tells a very different story.

From the opening whistle, Glorious Ones looked the sharpest side. They dominated possession, dictated the pace and consistently advanced with attacking intent.
