The German defender Felix Nnaemeka AGU was officially authorized by FIFA to represent Nigeria’s super eagles.
This is following his invitation to the Nigerian team for training during the next Unity Cup tournament scheduled for May.
A declaration on Super Eagles social media channels confirmed Saturday’s development.
According to the short post on the Super Eagles Facebook page on Saturday, the German Football Association provided a formal confirmation that AGU has never presented in an official match – Senior or Junior – for Germany.

Born in Germany to Nigerian parents, AGU a product of the VFL youth system Osnabrück, imposes its trade with the Bundesliga Werder Brema team.
He made his debut in the Bundesliga against Bayern Munich in November 2020.
AGU recorded three goals in 22 appearances in the Bundesliga 2024-2025 season.
