The Ministry of Federal Education has announced the immediate redistribution of two pro-changers of federal universities in the field of the current efforts to strengthen governance in the nation’s tertiary institutions.
In a declaration signed by the director of the press and public relations of the Ministry, Boriowo Folasade, the move was described as a step to promote equity, transparency and good government in the education sector.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, said that the reforms aim to create a more favorable learning environment for students, while supporting the high standards of the Nigerian universities.
“With the renewed reforms in the educational system, we are determined to guarantee equity, transparency and strong governance in all our universities, ensuring that our children receive quality education in the best environment,” Alausa said.
According to the ministry, the retired colonel Abdulmumini Aminu, who had previously been in favor of the Chancellor of the Federal University Dutsin-MA, was redistributed to the Kebbi of the Federal University. In the same way, his excellence Ali Abubakar Jatau, which was the pro-changing of the Federal University Bernin Kebbi, was reassigned to the Federal University Dutsin-ma.
Redistributions have immediate effect.
The minister thanked the two appointed for their continuous dedication and service to the educational development of the nation.
