Nigeria’s currency, the naira, recovered against the United States dollar at the official window on Wednesday.
Officially, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data shows that the naira closed at N1,357.33/$1, compared with N1,366.55/$1 on Tuesday.
This represents a gain of N9.22 for the local currency against the dollar.
On the black market, the naira closed flat against the dollar, trading at N1,395/$1.

The local currency also closed flat against the British Pound and Canadian Dollar at N1,880/£1 and N1,100/CA$1 respectively.
The naira rose N5 against the euro, trading at ₦1,625/€1, down from the previous day’s ₦1,630/€1.
