The new Super Eagles winger wants to join the English Premier League team

Newly capped Nigerian international winger, Femi Azeez, is interested in a move to the English Premiership after missing out on promotion with Championship side Millwall, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Azeez made his international debut for Nigeria in the Unity Cup and made an instant impression with a brace in the 2-0 semi-final against Zimbabwe and an assist in the 3-0 win against Jamaica in the final of the invitational tournament.

Last season he was named English Championship team of the season after scoring 11 goals and 8 assists.

Now he feels it is time to take his business to the top division, where he is attracting interest from Brighton, Aston Villa and newly promoted Ipswich Town, who have already failed with their first bid for him.

A source close to the player revealed that he has let Millwall know that he wants to leave in the summer. Discussions about his decision will be held in the coming days.

His representative will sound out interested parties only when there is an agreement and a fee for his departure from the club. However, the player is interested in a departure and has made it known to the club’s hierarchy.
