The shepherds fired on security agents in the benue community

Armed shepherd on Friday ambushed security agents in Ancha Village, Makurdi Regional Government, Benue state and shot at them.

Security agents respond to the nickname of the community when they were attacked.

Local residents warned the security agents when they saw a group of shepherd shepherd in agricultural land cultivated in the village.

Heavy shots caused panic among the villagers and forced many of them to run to the nearest bushes to be full.

Armed people suspected of being a shepherd last month killed more than 200 people in coordinated attacks on people in the northern-middle state.
