Tinubu approves new appointments at NECO, NBTC

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, among others, approved six new appointments at the National Examinations Council (NECO) and National Board of Technical Education (NBTE).

A statement issued by the Presidency listed the appointments as follows:

Prof Modupe Adeola Adelabu – Chair, Governing Council, National Examinations Council (NECO)

Prof Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi – Remains as Registrar/Chief Executive, NECO

Prof Babatunde Salako – Chairman, Governing Board, National Board for Technical Education (NBTE)

Prof. Idris M. Bugaje – Reappointed as Executive Secretary, NBTE (second and final 5 year term)

Engr. Bongfa Binfa – Chancellor, Federal Polytechnic, N’yak-Shendam, Plateau State (5 years term)

Prof Chinwe Veronica Anunobi – Renewed as Director/Chief Executive, National Library of Nigeria (last 5 years term)
