The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, on Saturday predicted that the party would win a landslide victory in the 2027 elections.
Yilwatda disclosed this shortly after he cast his vote in the APC presidential primaries in Dungun, Kanke Plateau Local Government Area.
Its chairman, who was accompanied by the Senator representing Southern Plateau, Simon Lalong, described the APC as the party that must be defeated.
He noted that the APC, with its huge following and acceptance across Nigeria, has positioned itself as one of the largest parties in Africa.
He said: “The large voter turnout shows how the party has penetrated rural and rural communities.
“This also shows the confidence of the people and President Bola Tinubu’s Hope Renewal Agenda.

The party chief promised to reconcile all aggrieved party members, especially those who lost in the recent primaries.

Meanwhile, Lalong, who once served as governor of Plateau State, vowed to support the national chairman in efforts to secure victory for the APC at all levels.
