Zadok Yohanna shines in training with Brighton

Newly signed Zadok Yohanna has caught the eye at English Premier League side Brighton as they step up their preparation for the start of a new season, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Signed immediately after the end of the season from Swedish side AIK, the winger who has just turned 19 has immediately got to work with the first team under the watchful eye of coach Fabian Hürzeler.

He does not seem out of step with the manager’s demands and will likely start his first pre-season match against French Ligue 2 side FC Annecy on July 25.

Zadok has been told in clear terms that he will remain at the club for at least the first six months but will not be a regular starter with the aim of gradually adapting to the demands of the English Premier League.

His main rival for the right wing position is fellow African Yankuba Minteh, but there are suggestions the 21-year-old could be on the move in the coming years, with Zadok set to take his place in the team.
