The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) South West is targeting 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
APC Chairman in the South West, Dr. Isaac Kekemeke, who spoke at a press briefing on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti, said their projections were based on a series of achievements recorded by Tinubu.
He also expressed optimism over the success of the APC in the June 20 gubernatorial election in Ekiti and the August 15 gubernatorial election in Osun State.
According to him, the Tinubu administration has recorded extraordinary achievements, especially in the area of financing education through the implementation of the student loan scheme.
The House Speaker called the removal of fuel subsidies a bold economic reform, and noted that this has freed up resources for development projects across the country.
He also commended the Federal Government for ensuring regular payment of salaries and better implementation of minimum wages for workers.
“These policies have contributed to economic stability and improved public sector efficiency, particularly in the Southwest region.

“We are proud of the achievements achieved by Mr. President, we will return them with abundant votes.
“He has tried to stabilize the economy, and approved the construction of various road projects in the Southwest, while there have been no strikes at universities in the region in the last three years,” Kekemeke said.
He also warned the opposition coalition “to stop issuing threats.”
“Nigerians don’t even know which party is in opposition. Threats will not win elections, but serious mobilization can make the people win,” its chairman concluded.
