3 injured, 2 arrested after confrontation near Victoria’s Beacon Hill Park

Two people have been arrested following an alleged assault with a weapon near Beacon Hill Park in Victoria on Friday evening which left three people injured.

Victoria Police said officers were called to the area of ​​Dallas Road near Beacon Hill Park just after 10 p.m. following reports of a confrontation involving multiple people, according to a news release.

Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the two injured people were taken to hospital for treatment and have been released.

Officers arrested two people at the scene, none of whom were injured. Police said one of those arrested was a young man. Both are still in custody.


The Victoria Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation, which is still in its early stages.
