The management of the University of Abuja is pleased to announce that the local chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has officially ended its strike. Consequently, the University will resume all academic activities with effect from Monday, 29th July, 2024.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We recognize the impact the strike has had on your academic progress and are committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient transition back to regular academic activities.

To this end, all students are required to return to the University campus by this weekend to prepare for the resumption of classes. Full-time classes will begin promptly on Monday. Faculty members have been instructed to fully resume their teaching responsibilities and provide all necessary support to students during their stay.

The University administration is committed to maintaining a conducive learning environment and will provide all necessary resources to facilitate the continuation of your studies.

We encourage students to take advantage of available support services, including academic advising, counseling, and other student services.

We thank you once again for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to welcoming you back to the University and wish you the best in your studies.
