Oborodudu loses bronze match, Nigeria still without medal in Paris

Freestyle wrestler Blessing Oborodudu failed to win the bronze medal in the women’s 68kg wrestling event at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Oborodudu got his campaign off to a good start when he made it to the semifinals of his second consecutive Olympics after defeating Koumba Larroque of France 6-2.

But she lost in the semifinals against Meerim Zhumanazarova from Kyrgyzstan, leaving her to battle for the bronze medal.

Unfortunately, Oborodudu lost 3-0 to Nonaka Ozaki of Japan on Tuesday night and finished fourth in the category.
