Tinubu returns to Abuja after three-day trip to Equatorial Guinea

President Bola Tinubu on Friday returned to Abuja after a three-day trip to Equatorial Guinea.

The president’s Gulfstream jet landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 7.00pm on Friday.

Tinubu was received by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and other top government officials.

The president traveled to Equatorial Guinea on Tuesday at the invitation of the country’s leader, Teodoro Mbasogo.

During his stay in the Central African country, the Nigerian leader signed an agreement on the Gulf of Guinea Pipeline Project between the two countries.

On Wednesday, Tinubu ordered African leaders to discuss the exodus of skills and talent from the continent at a dinner held in his honor in Malabo, the country’s capital.
