Former NIWA MD George Moghalu leaves APC

Former Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways (NIWA), George Moghalu, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

A copy of the letter was provided to journalists on Tuesday.

The letter read: “I convey the good wishes of my beloved family and wish to formally inform you of my decision to resign from the APC membership with effect from today, 26th August 2024.

“Please accept this as my personal decision. It is my greatest wish and hope that we will continue to maintain the good relationship that we have built together over the years.

“I wish you and all the members of the party the best. Please accept, as always, my assurances of respect.”
