Kidnapped Borno judge reportedly free after 76 days

The kidnapped judge at the Borno State High Court, Justice Haruna Mshelia, has reportedly regained his freedom.

Armed men suspected of being terrorists kidnapped the judge along with his wife, driver and a policeman on June 24.

While the judge has been released, the other three victims are still being held hostage by the criminals.

A source at the court told reporters on Monday in Maiduguri.

“We have just received news of the release of Judge Haruna Mshelia by Boko Haram,” he said.
