Salah’s penalty sealed Liverpool’s win at Wolves

Mohamed Salah converted a late penalty to seal a 2-1 win for Liverpool over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday night.

With this victory, the Reds regained top position in the Premier League.

Ibrahima Konate opened the scoring with his first Premier League goal and gave the visitors the lead at Molineux.

Rayan Ait-Nouri then equalized for Wolves before Salah’s second-half penalty quickly restored the lead.

Arne Slot’s side have now won five of their opening six Premier League games of the season, losing 1-0 to Nottingham Forest.

They capitalized on Manchester City’s 1-1 draw today at Newcastle and went above Arsenal again to reclaim top spot.
