Fubara: I’m not afraid to leave the assignment


The governor of the state of sparrows Siminalayi Fubara has promised that governance will prevail despite the opposition in the state.

Fubara stressed that he is not afraid to leave the assignment as the governor of the state of spinners.

Fubara said it while inaugurating the districts of the government’s Chamber staff built by his administration in Port Harcourt, the capital of the State of Rivers, Monday 3 March 2025.

The governor said that the governance course is irreversible despite the antagonism against his administration.

He noticed that the news of the judgment of the Supreme Court has dampened the spirit of many people in the states of rivers, but he urged them to prepare as “what is in the lead is more than what happened”.

Fubara said: “Our back is not on anyone; It is on God. I want to thank you for your support.

“And I assure you that, if there is a person on this planet Earth who will continue to be next to you, I will be that person.”

The governor, however, said he never enrolled in violence nor did he ask people to indulge in law and warned that his administration would not have ignored anyone who intends to trigger violence in the state of rivers.

Fubara added: “I’m not afraid of anything, the worst that will happen is to leave the office for me.

“Am I leaving the earth? Will he prevent me from existing? “

Fubara said that the interest of the state remained its maximum priority, underlining that she would not hesitate to pay the supreme price, if required.

He also urged the people of Rivers to know that “there is honor and glory in fighting gallantly, to be on the side of truth”.

Fubara assured the elderly of the state who would not have disappointed their expectations of providing a good government to the state.

In his observations, the head of the staff, Government House, Edison Ehie, praised the governor for the construction of the project and for having “taste” to make life at ease for workers.
