Naf killed a terrorist suspect near Mount Mandara Borno

The Nigerian Air Force (Naf) on Wednesday killed a number of terrorist suspects near the Mandara Mountains in the state of Borno.

Deputy Director of Public Relations and Information, Naf, Captain of the Kabiru Ali Group, revealed this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

He said: “The Hadin Kai (OPHK) operating air component is guided by tiring intelligence, supervision, and reconnaissance mission (ISR), identifying a number of terrorists that store logistics and plant an improvisation explosion (EED) around Wjiroko.

“The supervision then tracks their movements to a hidden location that holds a weapons truck, ammunition supply, and fuel reserves.

“In response, troops execute several waves of missions of air prohibitions.

“The first wave hit the center of terrorist logistics, destroying trucks and critical supplies.

“The others were followed by a rocket attack and a sustainable cannon, ensuring the destruction of total terrorist assets.

“Then on that day, the Naf plane targeted another terrorist pocket in Chinene in the Mandara Mountains.

“Intelligence reports show that rebels have moved there after a previous air strike on Degbua on March 16.

“The surveillance of overhead confirms the existence of an active structure, encouraging the implementation of attacks that burned terrorist hiding places.”
