Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, stated on Friday that the state canoe state was secured for the Congress of All Progressive (APC) ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Akpabio spoke during a visit to the Special Advisor of the National Assembly (Senate Matters) to the President, Senator Basheer Lado, in his office at the National Assembly, Abuja.
He said the influence of the Senate Vice President, Barau Jibrin, APC National Chair Abdullahi Ganduje, and Lado will always swing the success of success in the state that supports the party.
The President of the Senate praised Lado for ensuring a smooth communication between the executive and the senate.
He said, “With the Vice President of the Senate, National Chair of the APC, and your strategic influence, Kano has been secured for APC ahead of 2027.
“In government, information security is very important. Where official businesses are carried out on newspapers and social media pages because of leaks, it damages national security. I praise you to uphold the integrity of this office and ensure effective governance.
“The performance of Senator Lado over the past eight months has been extraordinary. You have strengthened the synergy between the executive and legislative, making the government more effective.”
In his words, the President’s aide described Akpabio as a statesman who prioritized national unity and progress.
