The Governor of the State Osun, Ademola Adeleke, has loossed a 24 -hour curfew that was forced on several communities in the state.
The governor on March 23 imposed curfew on the Ifon and Ilobu/Erin-Osun community in Orolu and the regional government of Irepodun in the state of violence.
Press Secretary Head of the Governor, Mr. Olawale Rasheed, confirmed the relaxation of the curfew in a statement on Friday in Osogbo.
He directed that the curfew will be from 2:00 noon to 7:00 am

“Relaxation of the curfew will apply from Friday, until further notification,” the statement said.
The governor said he made the decision to reduce the suffering of residents from three cities and provide opportunities for them to meet their direct needs.
He praised the population for stopping hostility so far.
Adeleke, however, expressed dissatisfaction with other murder reports in which the police had made an arrest and warned that “anyone or a group of people who master any acts of violence will face full consequences.”
