Reps Chair of the Public Account Committee, Oluwole Okay, resigned from PDP

MPs who represent the Federal Obokun/ORIADE constituent in Osun state in the National Assembly, Oluwole Oke, have resigned from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Okay, who is the Chairperson of the House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts,
announced his resignation in a letter addressed to the Chairperson of PDP in Wurd 7, the Obokun Regional Government area in the state.

The letter was seen by journalists on Wednesday.

The sixth period of parliament said he made the decision to dispose of PDP after consulting with partners, friends and family members.

He said: “I want to officially tell you that I resign from my membership
The Democratic Party of the People, PDP, with direct effects.

“It is my desire that you accept my resignation in good faith.”
