Lawyers threaten legal action against EFCC, GTBBANK for the arrest of very dark people

Deji Adeyanju, one of the lawyers representing social media critics Martins Vincent Otse, aka very dark people, has threatened legal actions against the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) and GTBBANK for the arrest of their clients.

Lawyers in a post distributed on the official X grip (previously Twitter) revealed that a very dark man and his friend were currently being detained by EFCC after they were both picked up at the GTBBANK branch.

He revealed that a very dark man was locked in the GTB exit after visiting the bank for more than 5 minutes to allow EFCC officials to catch him and his friend.

Adeyanju noted that legal action would be contrary to EFCC and GTB for inhuman care imposed on their clients, who had refused to see anyone or out of the cell.

The lawyer wrote so on page X; ” VDM is detained at EFCC: Our lawyer led by our head of our company @marvin_omorogbe has just met a VDM friend who was arrested along with him in EFCC detention. VDM refuses to get out of the cell; that he will not see anyone.

” VDM is locked in the GTB exit for more than 5 minutes to allow EFCC to catch him and his friend. We will take legal action against GTB for inhuman treatment imposed on our clients. We will immediately issue a public statement. “
