Chukwueze Bags First Series A Assist while Milan beat Bologna

Samuel Chukwueze left the bank to register his first assistance of the season A series, since AC Milan won a 3-1 victory over Bologna on Friday night.

The victory marked a fourth consecutive triumph of the League for Rossoneri, finishing the undefeated race of four Bologna games in the process.

He also raised Milan to eighth place at the table with 60 points, strengthening his impulse for a European place.

Chukwueze, who had not appeared in the two previous games of Milan against Venezia and Genoa, was introduced in the 65th minute instead of Alex Jiménez.

Its impact was almost immediate, since it brought fresh energy to Milan’s attack.

The end delivered an assistance well intermitted in the additional time, establishing Santiago Giménez for Milan’s third goal in the 92nd minute.

Before that, Giménez had attracted the level of Milan in the 73rd minute after the visitors had been left behind, and Christian Pulisic completed the return with a goal in the 79th minute.

It was a very necessary moment of redemption for Chukwueze, who has fought for the game time.

The attendance was the first in 25 appearances in the series to this season, highlighting the challenges he has faced in Italy.

Despite its limited minutes, Chukwueze showed efficiency in its short cameo, completing five of six passes for a precision rate of 83% and helping Milan to control the final moments of the game.

The performance can offer you a timely impulse in trust before the final clash of Coppa Italy of Milan against Bologna on Wednesday, a rematch that has even more importance for both clubs.
