Unity Cup organizers insist that Osimhen plays for Super Eagles in an attempt to increase ticket sale

The organizers of the Unity Cup friendly tournament in England say that Victor Osimhen has to be part of the Nigerian team for the tournament that begins at the end of the season, reports Owngoalnigeria.com.

Osimhen and a large number of other stars of the Nigerian team are expected in the tournament, which will see them face Ghana on May 28 before facing Jamaica three days later.

The sales of tickets for the tournament that will take place in Brentford’s native field began seriously, but it moves very slowly not thanks to the concerns that the main stars of all teams are probably not available.

A member of the organizers in a private conversation with a member of our editorial team said they face difficulties with the Nigerians, who are not interested unless they are sure of the presence of the best players, especially the star of the team in Osimhen.

In that sense, they have tried to talk to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to trust their concerns for chief coach Eric Chelle to not neglect at age 26, but should convince him to play since the League in Turkey will end two days before the first Nigerian game.
