The Minister of State for Oil Resources (Gas), the Head of Ekpo Expense, on Wednesday urged oil and gas stakeholders to collaborate to meet the quota approved by the Petroleum Exporting State Organization (OPEC).
The minister made a call in 2025 Nigeria Oil and Gas Opportuns (NOGOF) 2025 which is taking place in Yenagoa, Bayelsa.
Ekpo, who was represented in the forum by a permanent secretary at the Ministry, Emeka Obi, noted that the current output of 1.4 million barrels per day falls from 1.8 million barrels of quota approved by OPEC.

He praised the Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) for opportunities to display a fair to the Nigerian company.
He said the growth of Nigerian content from five percent in 2010 to 56 percent in 2024 was a praiseful achievement.
