CDS Visits the Ministry of Defense Slovak in Bratislava

Bratislava (basic reporter) Head of the Nigerian staff, Gen Christopher Gwabin Musa, Friday 23 May 2025, made an official visit to the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense of the Slova Republic in Bratislava. The CDs and its entourage were received by the Slovacchi CDs, the Gen Daniel Zmeko and other high officials.

Upon arrival, the Nigerian delegation was honored with a colorful honor guard, inspected by the CDs. Subsequently, the team engaged in large bilateral defense discussions.

The discussion focused on military training and the construction of capacity, as well as on the acquisition of defense equipment. Other areas are the transfer of technology and innovation, including the methods to improve defense production skills.

Both leaders underlined a deeper collaboration to deal with security challenges and improve military readiness. The CDS appreciated Slovakia for its support and highlighted the opportunities for joint industrialization of the defense, while Gen Zmeko applauded the resilience of Nigeria and the regional security leadership while committed the continuous partnership.

Basic journalists report that the visit has marked a significant milestone in the defense reports of Nigeria-Slovana, opening the way for long-term strategic cooperation.
