Residents escaped when the Shepherds launched a deadly attack on the Benue Community (Video)

It was a disturbing sight when residents, including women and children, from the Agan community in Makurdi, the capital of the state of Benue, were forced to escape from their community when the serious shepherds invaded the area on Thursday night.

According to eyewitnesses, the attackers who were armed with dangerous weapons, fired sporadically when they stormed into the community and some people were feared to die with many others who were injured in the deadly attack.

“Fulani’s attackers arrived in large quantities around 6 pm on Thursday and fired indiscriminately, killing many people and burned several houses,” a resident told a journalist after managing to escape.

“Many people have been killed and many others are injured. We do not know the figure of the victim for now because the community is quiet. Almost everyone has fled for safety,” he added.

A video shared on X by Eons Intelligence shows residents, including very young children, escapes the community to escape from the robbers’ shepherds.
