REP Dumps PDP to APC in Cross River

A member of the House of Representatives from Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwarra Federal Constituency at Cross River State, Mr. Peter Akpanke, has defected from the Democratic Party (PDP) of the people to the Congress of All Progressive (APC) in the state.

Akpanke confirmed the change during media briefing by Cross River APC Caucus at the National Assembly on Friday in Calabar.

He praised the appearance of President Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu in the last two years and combined support for their second term aspirations.

“I am ready and support anything that will advance the state and nation,” said the member of the parliament.
