The alleged shepherds reportedly killed one, kidnaping many people in the benue community

The armed people suspected of being a shepherd reportedly kidnapped several passengers along Jalan Oweto-Apa-Adoka-Otukpo in the state of Benue on Friday.

A former chairman of the regional government area in the state, John Ikwulono, confirmed the incident to journalists. on Friday.

He said one person was killed in the attack.

“One person was killed on the side of the road. Beside the man, we do not know how the number of people killed at this time,” he said.

However, the State Police Command had not confirmed the incident when submitting this report.
