“Mtu Mzima” is a Bongo Flava single by the Tanzanian artist Marioo. It was released in October 2026 by Bad Nation with a message of maturity and coming out of a toxic romance.

Marioo’s latest track, “Tangazo,” tells the story of a failed romance with a strong sense of self-respect. In Swahili, she sings that she’s done crying over heartbreak or begging for love, and that it’s time to accept things and move on with her life.
