The troops killed boko fighters in the borno air strike

The air component of Hadin Kai’s operation has killed several boko fighters during air strikes in the southern Tumbuns region in the state of Borno.

Director of Information and Public Relations of the Nigerian Air Force (Naf), Ehimen Ejodame, said in a statement on Saturday said the troops targeted terrorist pockets in operations carried out between Thursday and Friday.

The statement reads:

“The targeted structure is reported to be used for storage and coordination, providing direct attacks and planned attacks that aim to disrupt the celebration of Eid al -Fitr,” Ejodame said.

“The damage assessment confirms the neutralization of several terrorists and the destruction of the main logistics structure.

“This pre-emptive action underlined the commitment of the Nigerian Air Force to protect civil life and support national security goals.”
