The senior priest of the house in the Rock Church in Lagos, Father Paul Adefarasin, has denied the accusation that he held a weapon in Tiktoker on a road in Lagos.
A viral video has made a round on social media on Friday which shows Reverend Adefarasin holding a metal object while talking to a pedestrian who recorded it, with many suggested that the object was a weapon.
The incident was reported to have occurred after the creator of the content recognized the scholars who rolled the window of his car and pointed to what looked like a firearm in Tiktoker.
Social media users have dragged God with many people asking why a priest went with weapons and threatened people with him.
Social media critics such as Verydarkman and Lawyer, Deji Adeyanju also burdened videos and called ulama for video that was trending and calling for his arrest.
But when refueling the video in a post on his X -Sunday handle on Sunday morning, Father Adefarasin described the claim as a misunderstanding, stated firmly that the object seen in the recording was not a firearm, and that he did not direct it to anyone.

Adefarasin acknowledged the concern that the video might be triggered and promised to overcome this problem briefly during the church service at 9:00 am on Sunday, while urged the public to remain calm and not fall in love with wrong information or sensationalism around the video clip.
In posting on x, adefarasin wrote:
“Beloved family, believe that this meets you well, winning and on the test of life.
“You may be aware of a video that has been circulating on social media that shows me what some people misunderstand as a brandishing firearms.
“I want to convince you about this – that, of course it is not a firearm, and there is no point that I show it to anyone.
“We understand the concerns that may be caused by this accusation, and we will speak briefly about this damage for 9:00 am tomorrow’s service. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
