Bandit leader, Ado Alieru, said the government continued to lie that they had rehabilitated, terrorists that were integrated back into society

Wanted Bandit Kingpin, Ado Alieru, accused the Nigerian government of lying about rehabilitating and re -integrating bandits and terrorists who repented into the community.

ALERU WHO HAS BEEN ON THE WANTED LIST OF SECURITY FORESS Since 2022, while speaking during a “Peace Meeting” with Community Leaders, Security Personnel Including Army Officers, Police Officers, Traditional Rules, Religious Leaders, and Officials from Danmusa Local Government Area in Kathina State, and Groups of Bandits, Insisted That Claims by the Government that had rehabilitating and reintering repetant bandits back into the society were blatant lies as such as the programmes were not sustainable at any level.

In a video that was shared on X on Tuesday, the leader of the bandit gave a reason why he and many of his types decided to commit criminal acts even though their parents opposed such behavior while some people were not recognized and pursued from their homes.

According to him, many Fulani youths who joined armed groups were forced to enter the lifestyle because of the hard economic and social conditions outside of their control.

“I call on the Nigerian government, for God’s sake. Given the current situation, they must stop calling us terrorists while claiming that they have built schools for bandits or giving us education,” he said.

“They also have to stop saying that bandits have been rehabilitated and integrated into society, that is completely untrue”.

ALIERU who promised that he was ready and willing to drop his hand and hugged peace further to say:

“It’s time to leave violence and put our hands. If not, we will be killed. This is a clear truth. If we return to peace and pursue education, our children will have a better future and will succeed”.
